West Indies Will Win This Match
Afghanistan and West Indies will be up against each other at Nagpur on Sunday in what is going to be the last Super 10 match for both the teams in ICC World T20I 2016. West Indies are definitely the favorites to win this one but the way Afghanistan have played in the tournament so far, they may come up with a little surprise at the end of their campaign in World T20I this time around.
Afghanistan were right on top of England at one stage when they were bowling in the last match where they had taken 7 English wickets below 100 runs but the recovery from Moeen Ali towards the end of the innings simply took it away from them. So, they will certainly be expecting a better effort from their batsmen and, especially, Mohammad Shehzad will be expected to provide them with yet another blistering start at the top.
If they manage to put a good total on the board then they may find themselves in a good condition to win it against an unbeaten side in the group as well. Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi will be their key bowlers as they have been amongst wickets lately and are bowling economically as well.
West Indies, on the other hand, found themselves feeling some jolts in the last match against South Africa in a low scoring game. They will again be playing at the very same venue and will have to come up with their best so that they may not have to get humiliated on the hands of a side that hasn’t yet won anything in this round of the tournament.
Gayle and Samuels will be their key players in the next match and Andre Fletcher can give some punishment to the bowlers as well. As for their bowling, they will be depending on Badree and Russell as they have been their best bowlers so far in the tournament. Benn and Bravo bowled well in the last match too and they can join the party as well.
No matter what, our prediction is still that it will be West Indies who will win it convincingly!
