England vs West Indies World T20 Final Astrological Predictions
England 60% : 40% West Indies
England batted their way through to the Final, defeating New Zealand who were unbeaten throughout the tournament and their only defeat ended their run in the tournament. So, now it’s the big one and England will be taking on West Indies in the Final of the tournament at Kolkata on Sunday, 3rd April, 2016.
West Indies batsmen were in a completely different mood in the semifinal against India and they made it look so easy while chasing down 193 runs target against a bowling line up which barely conceded in excess of 150 runs throughout the tournament.
Luck did favor them as their highest scorer, Lendl Simmons who got an unbeaten 82, as twice he got out on a no-ball and once he was caught in the deep but the fielder’s foot touched the skirting and it was given a ‘Six’. But other than that, Charles batted brilliantly for his 52 at the top and Russell scored an unbeaten 43 as well. The West Indian innings was full of sixes and fours as they hit it 11 times out of the park and 20 times the ball was sent to the boundary.
They need such a blast once more from their batsmen and they’ll be the World Champs in T20I cricket yet another time. Russell and Badree have been bowling well for them and they will be in the spotlight against England in the Final as well. However, Russell, Bravo and Brathwaite need to work a bit on
their economy so that they can restrict England to a score that can be easily chased down.
England, on the other hand, batted wonderfully as well in the semifinal. Jason Roy was their spearhead in the batting department and he took the game away from New Zealand single-handedly as he scored 78 from 44 balls. Buttler will also be in the spotlight as he batted brilliantly in the last couple of matches and was unbeaten at 32 in the semifinal from just 17 balls.
Hales and Root batted reasonably well too. In fact, Root has been the man for them who anchors it in big run chases. He was unbeaten in the last match as well and will play a key role for England in the Final match as well.
Even though England are the second best to win it in the Final but if they bowl well like they did in the second half of the innings against the Kiwis and bat well once again then they can surprise many yet another time.
The bowlers have been doing it wonderfully for them as well. Jordan and Stokes bowled quite economically in the last match and picked up 4 wickets among them. Stokes, alone, picked 3 of them.
Willey has also bowled well in the tournament occasionally, and will have to come up with a better performance in the Final as well. Adil Rashid has not been at his best in last couple of matches and it’s the right time for him to come up with his best.
We still predict West Indies to be the favorites in a closely fought battle at Kolkata in ICC World T20I 2016 Final.
